Territory questions, answered
What are exclusive automotive leads?
Credit-qualified car buyers assigned to a single dealership by territory — sold once, never shared, resold, or recycled to a competing store in your market. You get soft-pull-screened buyers in your protected area, delivered to your CRM and as a compliant mail piece.
Can my competitor buy the same leads?
No. Territory is exclusive — once your market is assigned to you, a competing dealer can’t buy the same program in that area. That’s the difference between exclusive and “exclusive-ish” shared leads sold to several stores at once.
How big is a territory?
Territory is defined by ZIP, radius, or DMA and sized to your market and buy box. Tell us your area and criteria and we’ll show you what’s available and the volume it produces before you commit.
What if two of my rooftops overlap?
For dealer groups, we map multiple rooftops as non-overlapping territories so your own stores aren’t competing for the same buyer. We’ll work out the boundaries with you up front.
How is territory assigned — first come, first served?
Yes — on a first-confirmed basis. When a market is claimed, it’s closed to competitors until it opens again. That’s why it’s worth checking availability early.
Does this conflict with my franchise or OEM rules?
Exclusive territory is about who receives the leads and mail, and it complements your brand and co-op rules rather than replacing them. Confirm any OEM-specific marketing requirements with your manufacturer — this is educational, not legal advice.
